Our Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and resourceful individual in a new Training Coordinator role to be based at the Voyager Academy at RAF Brize Norton. You will provide direct support to the Training Delivery Manager (TDM) and work as part of the Academy’s administration team. The Training Coordinator (TC) will be the main point of contact for our customer’s day to day training related activities, dealing with programme and course related changes as well as a variety of post-course activities, including the maintenance of training records for all students.
Primary Purpose of the Role
A significant proportion of your duties will be centred on the Academy’s Training Management Information System (TMIS), which houses the programme schedule and training records, as the Academy seeks to develop the system capability alongside improved processes to enhance the training service. The TC will work alongside the TDM and management team and drive the system development in order to extract the maximum benefits from our training system.
Aside from the appropriate IT competencies, the role necessitates a high attention to detail and requires the job holder to problem solve and find adaptable and cost effective solutions to the variety of problems presented. As part of a small administration team, the Training Coordinator will periodically be asked to support colleagues in the Administration/Reception area with regard to pre-course and general administration.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- To be the main point of contact for our customer’s day to day training related activities, dealing with a variety of programme changes and liaising with the appropriate stakeholders in connection to: The addition of new training course, Rescheduling of existing course, Cancellation of training event, Management of training room/equipment resources including A330/Voyager flight simulator, Tracking of trainee name changes, etc.
- Responsible for the compliance to the Company’s EASA Approved Training Organisation (ATO) including the creation of student training files, monitoring of ATO training paperwork and maintenance of instructor files in liaison with the Head of Training (HoT) and/or Deputy Head of Training (DHoT)
- Providing general administrative support for a variety of pre-course and post-course activities.
- Assist the TDM with the ongoing maintenance and development of TMIS to extract maximum capability from the system whilst ensuring full compliance with the various authorities
- Assist the TDM in the production of monthly reports for statistical analysis
- Provide input and recommendations to the TDM for the construction of the annual training plan (IATP) and support at training meetings as appropriate

Upon reasonable notice being given and in accordance with local working agreements, individuals will need to be flexible to take on additional responsibilities.

- Proven customer service experience
- Computer literate and possess an intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team ethic
- Highly motivated and customer focused to deliver excellence
- Ability to work independently to tight schedules
Desirable
- Aviation background with an appreciation of EASA terminology
- Experience in an IT or technical environment
- Experience working within a military environment
Candidate must be eligible to obtain Full SC clearance without restrictions
