    Role purpose

    As an analyst in the Business Modelling Team you will be working alongside a large and highly collaborative team at the heart of a top real estate company. You will be using financial and operational modelling and data analysis to support strategic decision-making on a range of projects spanning the whole of the business.

    Key accountabilities

    Our team has a diverse skill-set and as such, there is no typical week but here are some examples of what you could be working on:

    • You could be modelling scenarios and performing cashflow analysis in order to identify the best commercial outcomes – in areas including capital investment decisions, and new acquisitions and disposals
    • You could find yourself working with big data sets, and producing analysis that provides new business insights to drive decision making within The Arch Company
    • You could be working with the business to create new reporting to enhance operations, to monitor and improve operational performance
    • You could be collaborating with asset managers to model Investment Committee cases from start to completion
    • You could be assisting in the preparation of forecasting and budget information and presenting your analysis to senior management and the board

    Knowledge, skills and experience

    Essential

    • We are looking for analytical, inventive thinkers, who enjoy learning, work hard and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
    • You will also need to be a good communicator as you will spend a lot of your time collaborating with all areas of the business.
    • You will like a challenge and be thorough, determined, and ambitious.
    • You will be a highly numerate problem-solver as evidenced in a strong academic background.

    Desirable

    • Prior knowledge of Excel, programming languages and the property industry are helpful but not required.
