What our team does
The Account Management Team is responsible for managing the relationships with digital retail and library partners.
Their main aim is to drive sales revenue using a variety of commercial strategies, based on regular analysis of sales results and observing seasonal and new release trends across the globe.
They work closely with different teams across the business, to ensure these external partnerships are as high-functioning and collaborative as possible.
What you’ll be doing
The job is focused on maintaining regular communication with partners, and organisational, administrative and operational support for the Accounts Team. It will involve some administrative duties for the Publishing Director as well as collaborating with teams across Pottermore Publishing and The Blair Partnership.
Account Management Duties
- Keeping partners informed, on a monthly basis, of key Pottermore Publishing and Wizarding World news for promotional and merchandising opportunities via our regular partner newsletter.
- Working closely with the Finance Team to ensure sales reports are received and invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a clear record of key commercial terms with partners, uploading documents as directed to our contract management system.
- Fielding ad hoc queries to the relevant teams across all accounts, to ensure issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Supporting and/or managing relationships with smaller accounts, which includes regular video/phone calls with key contacts to provide verbal updates. NB: There is scope for the level of responsibility to increase based on experience.
- Facilitating and supporting the Marketing Team in the execution of creative campaigns through the partners’ channels.
- Providing operational support across title metadata , file storage and distribution.
- Assisting in the administration of the Anti Piracy project including taking notes, researching links and setting up meetings.
Team Administrative Support
- Ensuring organisational and file structure is well maintained across the relevant Microsoft Teams and SharePoint spaces.
- Developing and distributing meeting agendas in advance and taking minutes as requested, circulating them in a timely fashion.
- Booking travel, accommodation, restaurants etc. as required ensuring budgets and travel policies are adhered to.
- Book Fair support, setting up appointments, managing diaries and booking travel.
- Supporting the Publishing Director as required, e.g. planning and scheduling group meetings, submitting expense claims, assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects.
What we’re looking for
- An interest in Publishing and/or Sales and Account Management.
- Strong team-working skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships with
- Detail-oriented, organised and accurate.
- Confident, self-motivated and inquisitive.
- Articulate and a good communicator.
- Able to work discretely and confidentially.
- Proficient in using MS Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with email software such as MailChimp would be helpful.
- Strong literacy and numerical skills.
- An interest in Harry Potter is a bonus (mastermind-level knowledge not required).
It is expected that the role and responsibilities will evolve over time as the individual grows within the business.
