At Lubrizol, we have a growing student community in the UK with over 30 placements each year across a number of roles.
As a student within the Creative Services/Global Communications team, you will be working in a global team of skilled professionals with colleagues around the world from commercial and manufacturing to corporate communications and charities. This role is extremely diverse and full of new and exciting experiences; In the morning you may be bench-marking pricing of our products or building on our extensive image library and by the afternoon you may be in conference calls with another part of the world or on location with our video and drone crews. No two days are the same in our team and we are looking for somebody to meet the challenges of a fast paced, busy and eclectic environment.
What you will be doing
- Project Management: managing incentives from start to finish, contributing as a team and developing process improvement
- Data Management: Uploading and cataloguing our image database, researching and presenting data
- Collating global databases: Providing insightful research and managing pricing research including industry database management
- Assisting photographers: Supporting film crews and photography shoots, planning and arranging locations and logistics, assisting drone operation
- Liaising with internal and external customers, including colleagues around the globe on a daily basis
- Marketing support: Assisting with distribution, research, promotion
- Charity Support: Leading role in Lubrizol’s charity committee, fund raising and event organisation, annual reports and presentations to senior colleagues
What you will need
- Must be studying towards a business or management related degree with a year in industry, achieving a 2:1 or above
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a flexible approach to learning new software and hardware
- Understand the needs of companies operating on a global scale, including cultural awareness
- Must be systems and process driven with great attention to detail
- Able to identify problems/fall shorts and contribute towards finding solutions or improvements
- Able to work in a team environment, as well as independently
