Have you got what it takes to engage and inspire people to take action for nature?

The role

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working with wildlife and young people on a fixed-term placement with the Trust. The post holder will inspire children and young people about the natural world through a variety of educational workshop programmes and outreach activities.

The Wildlife Trust is passionate about the provision of opportunities for children and young people to develop their understanding of, and foster a connection with nature. The Education team provides opportunities for people to learn informally through play and formally through outdoor learning on our reserves, in local green spaces, school grounds and on their doorstep.

About you

The Summer Engagement Placement will take a key role in engaging visiting families and delivering high quality outdoor learning opportunities at the Hive at Moss Bank Park. The role is working Thursday to Saturday and the successful candidate will need to have experience working with children and young people, and a commitment and enthusiasm for outdoor learning and nature conservation.
