    Key Responsibilities

    • Working with relevant Managers and Department Heads to generate automation strategies for existing and future business product lines.
    • Working autonomously to generate, report on and deliver project plans for all own engineering activities
    • Handling site and corporate targets and measures, including customer, colleague and supplier management, ensuring actions are completed on target
    • Offer expertise and steer new product introductions on automation engineering topics to define activity required to deliver the automation strategy of the project
    • To act as client liaison and work closely with respective counterparts as client site to align processes across multiple manufacturing sites
    • Ensure cGMP is applied in the work area and aligns with cGMP through following site SOP’s
    • Proactive in finding solutions to problems and identifying areas for improving their work environment. As well as core engineering skills
    • Understand and follow quality procedures to meet the requirements of quality standards relevant to the workplace.
    • Understand the internal and external regulatory environment pertinent to the sector and the sponsoring company and follow regulations proficiently whilst keeping up to date with any changes.
    • Understand and apply problem solving techniques.
    • Participate in continuous performance improvement.
    • Learn and apply information extracted from engineering drawings, specification diagrams and maintenance manuals and/or computer database systems including accurate data input.
    • Apply technical knowledge relevant to a single specialist field or a number of fields (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation).

    Communication

    • To promote the Engineering business capabilities both internally and externally.

    EH&S

    • Understand emergency procedures and follow safe systems of work.
    • Ensure compliance with environment, health and safety rules, signage and instructions at all times.
    • Ensure timely reporting and investigation of all accidents, near misses and breaches of rules.

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing an engineering-related Bachelor's degree
    • 0+ years of experience preferred
    • Strong project management skills
    • Ability to work independently and proactively initiate and complete tasks
    • Ability to handle change and respond to change processes in a positive manner
    • Pragmatism with strong organisation abilities
    • Self-motivated, pro-active approach to address meaningful assignments
    • Strong project ownership ethic with “can do” behaviours
    • Able to work within and deliver critical timelines
    • Good interpersonal abilities and the self-confidence to use these skills to convince others to buy-into proposals and plans
    • Able to multi task and prioritise within a changing environment
