    Do you have a legal background and love writing? If you can write in an analytical and succinct way about the law, this could be the role for you. We take cases from the Supreme Court right through to First-Tier Tribunals and distil the key information legal professionals need to know. This role is working in the Cases team, providing content for Westlaw UK.

    About the role

    In this opportunity as a Legal Editor, you will:

    • Select cases for digesting according to legal significance
    • Write analytical digests providing customers with the key information they need
    • Classify the cases for effective searching
    • Collaborate with cross-site teams on style and content improvements
    • Respond to customer queries on cases content

    Please Note – this role is predominantly remote with the opportunity to attend training and team meetings in West Yorkshire or London.

    About you

    You’re a fit for the role of Legal Editor if your background includes:

    • A law degree or equivalent
    • Experience of analysing complex information
    • Experience of writing with clarity and concision
    • Ability to work independently to short deadlines
