The Role

TikTok are searching for smart & passionate students to join the Global Business Solutions (GBS) Brand Strategy team in the UK. The Brand Strategy team guides the company's point of view in Europe on TikTok for marketers. The team is focused on delivering engaging narratives that inform and inspire clients, agencies and the industry with the opportunity TikTok brings to media agencies and brands direct.

Some examples of work from this team include platform and vertical narratives, inspiration decks around key moments on TikTok, strategic best practices and thought leadership. Ultimately our work will help generate demand for TikTok and drive consideration for our products and solutions.

We are also responsible for proactively developing business on TikTok from an agreed list of clients, leveraging our relationships with senior agency heads of strategy and planning. We work closely with the product team, agency sales and client teams, Creative Lab and Marketing Science.

This role will support the brand strategy team in their response to briefs and narrative development. Individual tasks might include, but aren't limited to:

  • Research platform trends (e.g. new trends, holiday led, by hashtag, by vertical etc.)
  • Work closely with the Marketing Science team to use 3rd Party insight platforms to pull audience and user data, including GWI 
  • Update seasonal calendar narratives and vertical narratives with new insights 
  • Help generate ideas in response to briefs
  • Read and summarise reports, market intelligence and category insights to help the team build vertical narratives
  • Taking on small briefs alone
