Our Trust and Safety engineering team is responsible for developing state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms to protect our platform and users from content and behaviours that violate community guidelines and related local regulations. With the continuous efforts of our trust and safety team, TikTok can provide the best user experience and bring joy to everyone in the world. 

    This role involves

    • Building industry-leading trust and safety systems for TikTok
    • Developing highly scalable ML learning algorithms for computer vision, natural language processing, data mining and user modelling
    • Understanding product objectives and improving trust and safety strategy and policies accordingly
    • Working with cross-functional teams to protect TikTok globally

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree, graduating in 2023
    • Studying computer science, engineering or related technical discipline
    • Available for full-time employment from September 2023
    • Experience in at least one of the following areas: machine learning, NLP, computer vision or data mining
    • High-level analytical and coding skills
    • Familiar with deep learning computing frameworks (e.g. Pytorch, Tensorflow etc. );
    • Great communication and teamwork skills
    • Passionate about techniques and solving challenging problems
