We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Graduate Consultant to join our Environment and Engineering Team. Applicants should come from an academic background in either acoustics, physics, maths or data science to assist our acoustics consultants with noise propagation modelling and data analysis.
The Environment and Engineering team assists developers in taking energy projects from conceptual ideas to operational assets. We offer a range of consultancy services including acoustics, planning, consenting, civil engineering, GIS and expert witness. Our projects range from early feasibility studies right through to environmental compliance, due diligence and beyond.
We envisage that the successful applicant will commence work in Summer 2024, although there may be an opportunity to start sooner if a suitable applicant is available.

Duties and responsibilities will include
- Undertaking noise monitoring surveys.
- Data analysis of measured data.
- Noise prediction and propagation modelling.
- Input to technical noise assessment reports.
- Modelling input and reporting for other technical studies, such as shadow flicker assessments.

Requirements
Essential requirements include:
- An acoustics, physics, maths or data science related degree.
- Strong general numeric and mathematical skills.
- An interest in energy and the environment.
- Full Driving Licence.
Desirable requirements:
- Affiliation with the Institute of Acoustics.
- Experience of undertaking noise surveys.
- Experience of data management and analysis.
- Coding skills, especially python.
