The Opportunity
The Geotechnical team in Manchester are currently working on a range of exciting projects including Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU), Wigan to Bolton electrification, M6 – Lune gorge improvements. To support us on these and other projects we are looking for a candidate with a strong desire to learn and be able to work as part of a team, supporting the geotechnical engineers with the design delivery. The selected candidate will be enrolled onto our Graduate Training Scheme, which is fully accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers, you will be fully supported to achieve professional chartership and helped through the process by our in-house Professional Development Manager. During your time as a graduate, you will be working alongside some of the best engineers in the industry, on exciting and challenging projects. We will be there to encourage collaborative behaviours and support your individual personal and professional growth.
Qualifications
- MEng or BEng+ MSc
Desirable
- Preference for the candidate to be nearing completion of an MSc in Soil mechanics or Geotechnical Engineering.
- If on a MEng, then Geotechnical modules should have been studied.
