The position
As a Business and Commercial Graduate you will have the opportunity to develop yourself and gain experience through providing support to certain projects within the Strategy and Business function of TotalEnergies UK affiliate. You’ll be working closely with business negotiators, economists, operations and legal functions to develop commercial agreements and conduct business analysis.
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the development of asset business strategy by regular contribution to multi-disciplinary and cross asset forums
- Conduct the evaluation of business opportunities, including technical and economic evaluations carried out by other departments
- Analyse the commercial and business impact of operational decisions, and present such analysis to the wider Business Team
- Working with the Joint Venture leads, understand the business and commercial dynamics of both operated and non-operated assets in the TotalEnergies portfolio
- Develop a basic understanding of the legal commitments to TotalEnergies of the various agreements commonly seen in UK assets
- Help the negotiation leads develop a business and negotiating strategy for new agreements under development, consistent with company requirements

About you

For the position we are looking for:
- Ideally, someone who has graduated in the last two years but also has some relevant transferable business experience or a student in their final year of study and will be graduating in 2023.
- Relevant degrees for consideration include an undergraduate degree in Business Management (or closely related discipline) with a minimum grade or predicted grade of 2:1. Alternatively, post graduate degrees or an MBA would also be considered an advantage
- Extracurricular activities, voluntary work or transferable work experience is an advantage
