The team
The Contracts and Procurement Intern will play a role within the energy transition mission. The department are responsible for the creation of supply chain relationships in emerging new areas and enhancing the existing supply chain to ensure safe and effective energy supply and contributing to the UK economy.
In dynamic and challenging market conditions Contracts and Procurement is on the frontline analysing and strategizing to balance company and supply chain sustainability. This exposure allows those involved to successfully practice and develop key technical and soft skills that can be easily transferred to other activities as they progress throughout their career.
The strong cross-functional dimension of the department means regular contact and exchange with management teams, various other functional departments, TotalEnergies affiliates and subsidiaries, experts in TotalEnergies Headquarters, as well as external peer organisations, suppliers and industry bodies enables development of professional networks.
Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:
- Data management, process improvements and supplier analysis
- Contract reviews and sustainable procurement activities
- Develop professional network by interfacing with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders in the planning and delivery of C&P activites.
The role
Our 12-week Summer Internships are a great opportunity to get a taste for working at TotalEnergies and get hands on experience within your field of interest. The programme’s design is multifaceted, ensuring that you receive the opportunities and support needed to develop on a personal and professional level. These include learning workshops, networking opportunities, training sessions and if operationally viable, a site visit.
During the programme you will have an ‘intern supervisor’ to keep you right. They will make sure that you are well looked after, understand your tasks, and encourage your learning and development. You will leave us having had a great experience, with an enhanced knowledge of the energy industry. Give your theoretical understanding a practical application - gain experience far beyond a textbook!
