The position
As our Graduate Project Engineer you will be given challenging and hands-on assignments, planning and delivering projects and offshore vessel campaigns in support of our production facilities.
You will have the unique opportunity to work on a wide variety of subsea and surface projects ranging from saturation diving campaigns in Northern North Sea, ROV operations in Central North Sea to projects on our operated sites.
During the first year, and to kick start your career, you will gain hands-on experience on subsea vessels and our operated sites furthering your safety awareness.
In a dynamic environment, you will contribute directly to the management of projects and campaigns enabling reliable operations and industrial projects. You will also identify and implement solutions to improve performance, reduce emissions in our operations and optimise cost and efficiency, including the deployment of technology.
You will develop your technical (project management, contract & contractor management, etc) and soft skills. Both of which are transferrable onto other sectors within the diverse and sustainable portfolio of TotalEnergies (upstream, offshore wind, etc.).
Some of the day-to-day responsibilities will include
- Deliver engineering studies and contribute to our risk management process
- Develop, coordinate and manage readiness for execution of offshore scopes and campaigns
- Go offshore during vessel campaigns as a TotalEnergies company representative to ensure safe and efficient execution
- Project manage Company and Contractor inputs and deliverables
- Gain exposure to budgets preparation, risk management, cost control and contract management
- Foster your knowledge & skills to become a competent Subsea Project Engineer
- Support vessel operations at our Asset: West of Shetlands, Northern North Sea or Central North Sea

About you

For the position we are looking for
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum or Subsea Engineering
- You will be curious by nature, with strong drive and desire to challenge and assist in improving our existing processes and tools
- Someone that will thrive working in multi-disciplinary teams and can adapt their communication style to anybody and connect easily.
