TotalEnergies is looking to expand the business to become a leading international player in renewable energies.
This position will support the UK Distributed Generation Business and will create an excellent opportunity for career development in a multinational corporate house. A successful candidate will be able to gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to dynamic field of solar distributed generation, mentorship, and guidance from experienced professionals in renewable energy industry.
The role is offered on a part-time contract basis with the opportunity to work alongside the team in Central London (Canary Warf) as well as from home.
Candidate profile
- Ideally engineering / business school graduate.
- Ability to work with MS tools: Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to carry out data gathering, online/ market research and data presentation.
- Understanding of or interest in the renewable energy industry.
Activities
- Conduct research, analysis and provide support with defining a start-up strategy for a DG company.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, trends, and competitor analysis in DG industry.
- Investigate data related to solar production, consumption patterns and regulatory requirements.
- Support in preparation of proposals, presentations, and educational materials for clients.
- Assist in planning and implementation of solar pv projects, site assessments, feasibility studies and design.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to support the development of projects.
