Responsibilities

We are looking for an Analytics Consultant to fulfil the following responsibilities:

• Regularly applies acquired technical knowledge to their work and starts to show an interest in specialising in a particular area.
• Evaluates their work to ensure it meets the required standards, and starts to carry out reviews of others’ work.
• Investigates issues in a logical manner, finding the right balance between resolving issues independently and knowing when to ask for help. Often solves problems for themselves and thinks outside the box.
• Works on various aspects of the project or service life cycle autonomously, according to the demands of their project/service, which could include requirements gathering, design, development, testing, UAT support, security and deployment.
• Proactively looks to broaden their technical knowledge, and seeks guidance from a mentor or team leader. Demonstrates ability to pick up new technologies and figure how they work.
• May start to work towards professional certification in an area of interest.
• Works with more senior colleagues to ensure that available analytics meets business requirements and user needs on their projects.
• Effectively documents their work in an understandable way to ensure smoother handovers.
• Works alongside their technical lead to consult the client on best practices and provides solutions for complex data challenges.
• Works collaboratively with the data engineers, UX researchers, source system administrators, etc. to ensure a smooth end to end process.

About You

Essential Experience

We’re looking for an Analytics Consultant who:

• Skilled in the development of analytical reports including iterating improvements in reporting, data models and processes to ensure robustness and scalability.
• Has an analytical skill set with an ability to understand data requirements and support the development of data solutions.
• Has some experience in following product and solution development lifecycles using frameworks and/or methodologies.
• Has an understanding of the principles of data modelling and data flows.
• Has an awareness of the automation, scalability and reliability of analytics services, and may start to identify opportunities for reuse, adaptation and efficient reporting.
