We are looking for a driven, personable and creative individual to join our Customer Success team as a data intern for the summer months.

In this role, you will be responsible for pulling data and insights from our BI platform: Looker - in order to drive value for our clients. We have a wealth of data within our platforms which you would help us capitalise on by analysing it and helping to build successful stories. You will also be tasked with building out dashboards within Looker that will mean our Customer Success Managers can easily access reports to share with their clients.

The Triptease platform is helping more than 17,000 hotels around the world speak directly with their guests, manage their parity and offer the best price direct. Join us on our mission to save the hotel industry from becoming a price, on a pin, on a map.

Responsibilities

  • Data analysis within Looker
  • Packaging up data in a “client ready” format - which can easily be shared with our partners
  • Analysing and reviewing benchmarking data on both a client and regional basis
  • Working with our marketing team to explore ways that we can scale sharing these data insights with our partners
  • Work with our key Customer Success Managers to understand what data points and areas to focus on, looking at Triptease data, industry standards and our Customers’ unique challenges

Requirements

  • A recent grad - Ideally with a degree in maths, statistics or data science.
  • Proficient in writing SQL
  • Experience working with software and data analysis skills (including quantitative analysis) and proven critical thinking capability
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to explain data trends in a client-friendly manner
  • Obsessive about learning!
  • Team player
  • Calm under pressure

Nice to have

  • Experience with Looker, SaaS or Web technologies such as: AB Testing, UX, Analytics
