TVS are operating as part of Team Leidos, a team of defence and logistics specialists, supporting a major transformation contract, providing an end-to-end supply chain service, delivering commodity and inventory savings to the UK Ministry of Defence.
Category Managers are the glue that hold this process together, they strategically manage the timeline for the programme and when to implement the buy process. They deliver savings to the end customer, the MOD, which makes a difference to the efficiency of our Armed Forces.
The role of Category Manager is to professionally challenge the norm, to be confident in their ability to provide the best procurement advice, in a very dynamic work environment, operating at high pace and tempo.
This is a hybrid role based at offices in Emersons’ Green at least one day a week, with the rest of the time working from home. This can change depending upon the demands of the contract, so you need to be comfortable with the commute.
