IT Services is responsible for all aspects of information-technology (IT) support and delivery across ARU, providing a first-class experience to our students, staff, and other stakeholders as they pursue their studies and work both on-campus and beyond.
The role
This is your opportunity to join our Media Service Team, providing a comprehensive audio-visual and media loans and support service to students and staff on our Cambridge Campus, as well as assisting in the delivery of high-profile online events.
A focused and motivated individual who enjoys working with people, you will spend time both on our loans desk and working in our studio environments, providing practical advice and guidance on the use of professional-grade media equipment to students and staff.
About you
You will either already have a degree, or part qualified in a relevant professional qualification, or demonstrable level of experience and have a sound knowledge and significant interest in the technology used in the production of still and moving digital media, images, and audio.
Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills are essential; previous experience in the use of professional-level media equipment and facilities or Adobe Creative Cloud applications would be advantageous.
