We are looking for a dynamic and conscientious individual to join us on an 8 week internship placement to undertake the role of Archaeology assistant within Southampton City Council’s Archaeology Unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking for practical experience with finds and archives to gain experience within a small team of professional archaeolgists.
About you
- You will be educated to degree level with knowledge of archaeology.
- You will work at the Archaeology Unit in Melbourne Street, Southampton
- You need to be a student in Southampton or from Southampton and studying at University elsewhere to qualify to apply for this opportunity.

Additional information:
- Please note the salary quoted is based on full time hours (37 hours).
- 30 hours per week
- This post is for a period of up to 8 weeks commencing in July 2022
