    This is an opportunity to gain experience in both the Insight & Analytics, part of Finance, and the Data Protection team, within Risk & Assurance.The successful applicant would spend around a two thirds of their time with Insight & Analytics and one third with Risk & Assurance.

    This programme is designed for undergraduates currently studying for a degree or equivalent and undertaking a placement or year in industry as part of their study course. Qualified candidates must be available to work for the full 12 month period.

    What you'll be doing

    Insight & Analytics

    • Building skills across data engineering, data transformation, data analysis and visualisation
    • Developing back-end data processing as well as front end data visualisations
    • Collaborating with teams across the business on their insight needs

    Data Governance

    • Unearthing data flows to support our needs in understanding how data is used across the organisation
    • Be part of an exciting transformation programme, helping design and shape the future Data Governance framework used within Unite Students

    What we're looking for in you

    • Working towards a degree with a numerical or technical data element e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Economics
    • An interest in data analysis and working with complex data
    • Keen to learn and develop as part of your university degree
