The A Side: A Day in The Life
We are looking for a talented Junior Videographer with skills in video editing and production. Sitting in the Global Digital Marketing team, reporting into the Head of Global Digital Marketing, the Videographer is responsible for content creation and editing for social media (inc. YouTube) and websites. The ideal person will be a team player and able to work to a brief with designers and marketers to deliver content to a high standard for varying project objectives, usually with quite a fast turnaround time/delivery deadline.
The B Side: Skills Experience
Be Organised
- Manage the organisation of projects and all related assets including backing up/archiving
Be Collaborative
- Work with designers to develop a video content identity to support marketing campaigns
- Lead on advising marketing team best video practice for social media/website
- Work with global territories to produce content suited for specific audiences and markets
- Work with marketing to develop the social media content cadence plan
- Travel to on-set locations in the UK and occasionally overseas
Be Technical
- Match music and design elements to video content
- Camera operation, lighting, and sound recording
- Ensure consistency and relevancy to production, monitoring the technical quality of final video
- Editing existing templates such as showreels and presentations
- Edit adaption and re-version projects including shot replacement, retagging and cut downs
Be Creative
- Create and edit original content for all social channels, including YouTube and global websites
- Revision videos and create animated albums from existing artwork
- Assist with developing the look of marketing video assets
- Work to creative briefs supplied by the Global Digital Marketing team and support any other initiatives
- Source and edit video footage from Stock video to produce social media videos
- Produce and edit on-set content
Person Specification
Necessary
- Skilled in camera operation, social media, video editing, and video production
- Skilled in post-production including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier Pro, Final Cut and Adobe Photoshop
- Proficiency in composition techniques to achieve and convey the required aesthetic result
- Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills
- Experience and understanding of creating videos for social media including YouTube
- Cinema 4D or 3D/animation skills an advantage
- Good knowledge of current design and motion graphic trends
- Good understanding of graphic design and typography
- Good motion graphics skills
- Creative thinker, providing the team with content ideas to suit Global Marketing planning
- Experience in lighting and camera work
- Genuine interest in all media related software
- Excellent understanding of social media including YouTube and recent social media video trends and advancements
- Experience of offsite filming and ability to manage shoots
- A working knowledge and understanding of digital video platforms
- Experience working alongside marketing and design teams
- Knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Fully competent on MAC OSX
