The A Side A Day in The Life
This role is Responsible to Head of Artist Development and working alongside the Marketing Managers and the Marketing Co-ordinator to provide support across Polydor’s artist campaigns.
The B Side Skills Experience
Be Administrative
- Collate and distribute stats, streaming data and updates for priority releases
- Book couriers, transport and accommodation
- Order stock and stationery where necessary
- Order audio visual products using CI
- Help arrange meetings and take minutes where needed
- Update the gig guide, internal release schedule and label agenda every week and distribute to the label
- Additional ad hoc duties where required
Be Operational
- Initiate digital releases with production team
- Assist in ensuring physical pre-orders are initiated and go live for each release alongside marketing manager
- Publish the physical & digital sales notes for each release plus ensure all relevant pitching processes are complete
- Help manage marketing budgets within internal finance system Uniport – including coding invoices, helping ensure suppliers get paid in a timely fashion, raising budgets and ensuring budgets are in line with what’s been planned by marketing
- Set up releases for advanced streaming in Play MPE & Studio CDN
- Collate and distributing assets using Box – e.g. artwork, press releases, biogs etc.
- Coordinate trafficking for all advertising booked each week
- Check all releases are logged with the OCC (Official Charts Company)
- Be responsible for ticket requests
- Help in the arrangement of events, playbacks and signings

- Passionate about music with a desire to progress in the industry
- Desire to work within marketing
- The ability to multitask and learn quickly
- Self-motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – confident liaising with suppliers, team members, artists and their management
- Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
- Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
- Good computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
Desirable
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Experience working in ‘music’ (personal or professional)
- Photoshop/ Video Editing skills
- Contribute ideas to campaign planning
