    The A side: a day in the life

    Universal Music Group is looking for a Social Media Intern to join their social media department, Rebel Labs to support their Snapchat Discover programming team and diversify our portfolio of successful Snapchat shows.

    You’ll be obsessed with music and have your finger on the pulse when it comes to the latest relatable internet youth culture, the biggest global trends and viral videos across Snapchat, TikTok and Reels.

    The B side: skills & experience

    • Scheduling and publishing posts on TikTok, Snapchat & YouTube
    • Community management; communicating with our followers in our brands’ tones of voice
    • Research and pre-production assistance ahead of our shoots with artists
    • Capturing on-set behind-the-scenes video content on mobile for our socials
    • Contribute to brainstorms and creative development of new ideas for shows, formats and ad-hoc content
    • Open-minded, versatile, and willing as possible to help us achieve all of the weird and wonderful things that we create 

    Person specification

    Necessary

    • A deep understanding of social media (especially TikTok)
    • Great short form writing skills for social media
    • An interest in music marketing
    • A big love of music (pop, rap, R&B and indie)
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Desired

    • Basic video editing
    • Basic photography skills
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Facebook Ads Manager
