    University College Birmingham has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our fast-paced Finance department.

    The role

    You will provide support in the areas of transaction processes including purchase ledger, sales ledger and staff expenses. Your role will assist in ensuring that suppliers and staff are paid in a timely manner and queries from suppliers, staff, customer and students are dealt with in a professional manner.

    The successful candidate will demonstrate

    • Relevant Finance experience
    • High level of IT skill
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team
