We have an exciting new opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic recent graduate of the University of Brighton to join the University’s Careers and Employability team as a graduate intern.

The purpose of this role is to work with colleagues in the team to support the development of digital content, and to find creative and innovative solutions that enable and encourage University of Brighton students and recent graduates to access and benefit from careers and employability support which leads them to reach successful outcomes when they leave university.

Key responsibilities include

  • Designing and developing content and learning materials on our online careers platform and other digital platforms.
  • Working with colleagues to create innovative activities that appeal to students and increase student engagement with the Careers and Employability team.
  • Working with other partners in the university, such as the Marketing and Communications team and Brighton Student Union.

This role is only open to graduates of the University of Brighton who have graduated in the past 2 years (2023 or 2024).

The successful candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work effectively with diverse student populations. They will have strong organisational and time management skills and be confident in using educational technology, online learning platforms, and using social media to engage a broad audience.

This role is on a fixed term basis for a period of 18 months.
