    An exciting opportunity for a graduate or junior IT analyst at the University of Central Lancashire. You will be applying agile development practices and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary product team focused on continuous improvement.

    The successful candidate will have the degree or equivalent work experience and will have the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues within the IT department, gaining experience of multiple systems and technologies.

    You will have excellent communication and analysis skills to work with customers gathering data requirements, working in close collaboration with wider IT team and key business stakeholders. You will have the ability to communicate and collaborate well with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation with varying technical experience and capabilities coupled together with strong problem-solving, a logical approach and to see different perspectives and alternative options.

    You will have the opportunity to work on business requirement gathering, data analysis and be an active participant in the software development process. It is key that you work well under pressure and have an appreciation of business priorities, deadlines and client requirements. Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
