About this role
We are recruiting a research assistant to engage in carrying out necessary activities as part of an internally funded project focusing on Contextualising Alarm Fatigue and Evaluating the CAFQa for UK Healthcare Environments.
The project aims to adapt the Charité Alarm Fatigue Questionnaire (CAFQa) for use in UK hospitals, specifically focusing on understanding alarm fatigue in UK ICUs and its impact on patient safety, clinical efficiency, and staff well-being.
The RA will play a key role in conducting literature reviews, qualitative data collection through interviews with healthcare professionals, and contributing to the adaptation of CAFQa to UK settings. The RA will also assist in preparing a report and a manuscript for publication.
About you
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree, or equivalent, in a relevant area and have experience of working in Psychology and Medicine. Experience of undertaking qualitative and/or quantitative research studies is essential, as are excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills.
