The role
This role will work with the Professor of Digital and Social Science within the Institute of Health in coordinating research and knowledge exchange activities, particularly in relation to the Cumberland Council Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC). The HDRC aims to build a strong evidence base on the range of factors influencing health inequalities across Cumberland’s coastal, rural, and urban areas, enabling the Council’s leadership to take informed action to improve health and wellbeing for all.
The post holder will work collaboratively with research teams, external partners, stakeholders, and the public to support the development and delivery of research projects.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include contributing to research strategy, coordinating outputs, supporting communication and engagement activities, and assisting in the preparation of grant applications and publications. This role is central to translating research into practical insights that inform local decision-making and drive positive change in public health.
