The role

The University of Cumbria Digital Team, within the Marketing and Recruitment directorate, are looking to appoint a Web Content Assistant to work as a key member of our Web Team.

We are looking for a proactive, organised and curious assistant to join our friendly and innovative team and help make our website the very best it can be. The main function of the role will be acting as front-line support for academic and professional teams across the university that need to make updates to our website, from updating our courses to staff profiles to applicant resources, and everything in between. Alongside the web team, you will scope out requirements, request any additional development work required, and upload content that is accurate, accessible and in line with our brand voice and image.

About you

There will be opportunities to develop your skills in project management, website development and design, compliance, accessibility, GDPR and SEO.

If you enjoy a varied and interesting workload, solving puzzles, have excellent attention to detail, and would like to develop your skills in working on websites, this could be the role for you!
