We are currently recruiting for a temporaryData Analyst with previous experience of analysing, synthesising and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and strong numeracy skills. This assignment is due to commence ASAP for approximately 12 weeks in the first instance, on a Full Time basis.
Duties include
- Work with the Humanities EDI Officer to collate, analyse and present staff and student data for Faculty level Athena Swan applications.
- Administer the Athena Swan culture survey within a Faculty. Analyse and present results in reports.
- Analyse additional relevant staff and student surveys (i.e. Staff Experience Survey, Student Barometer) by gender and present results in reports.
- Prepare data tables, graphs etc. for Appendices for Athena Swan applications.
- Identify and collate gender equality actions from gender working groups.
- Prepare data analysis tools (e.g. workbooks and guidance) for use of future Athena Swan applications for Humanities Faculties.
- Assist with writing a guide for developing an Athena Swan application for Humanities Faculties.
Selection criteria
- Strong numeracy skills and experience of analysing, synthesising and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to present data to different stakeholders, including the ability to understand and articulate limitations in data.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write concise and clear reports.
