This post will provide administrative support in all matters relating to the Suffolk Sustainability Institute and Digital Futures Research institutes at the University, research, and the wider outputs of the Research Directorate team.

About the team

The Suffolk Sustainability Institute is committed to tackling the causes of climate change. The impacts of climate change and environmental degradation are amongst the greatest threats to public health, the global economy and biodiversity. The Institute’s research is centred on three key themes that span a range of emerging research disciplines and pressing urban and rural sustainability challenges.

The Digital Futures Institute is a leading regional digital hub for applied research, development, consultancy, and training which has a strong technology focus. Bringing together our regional partners, University of Suffolk researchers, students and entrepreneurs are exploring the power of digital technologies to solve real-world problems. Based on Adastral Park, the Institute brings BT plc Research and Development together with top experts from the university to provide digital transformation and open innovation to the East of England.

About you

The University of Suffolk is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our Research Directorate team as a Research Institute Administrator. This pivotal role will involve providing comprehensive administrative support to our Suffolk Sustainability Research institute and Digital Futures Institute, facilitating the smooth operation of research projects and initiatives.
