    About the role

    As Research Assistant, you will support the Principal Investigator, Dr Hannah Wishart on neurodiversity in the criminal justice system project. This is a funded research project support by the Impact Development Fund titled ‘Seeing and Treating Neurodiverse Individuals in the Criminal Justice System.’

    The project investigates in interpreting and analysis of qualitative data from data and surveys to identify key themes using NVIVO. As part of the role you will be required to:

    • Undertake basic research for example by preparing, setting up, conducting and recording outcomes.
    • Conduct literature and database searches.
    • Continue to update knowledge and develop skills.
    • Seek to exploit the outcomes of research.

    Please note this is a fixed term contract for 10 days (working full time hours).

    The successful candidate should have a demonstrable record of working as part of a team or independently, with autonomy. Experience handling sensitive information with appropriate discretion, in accordance with research ethics and the GDPR.
