This post is full time, 35 hours per week and is fixed term until July 2026.
The University of Westminster is a place where discoveries are made, barriers are broken, diversity is celebrated, and everyone is welcome. Our people stand out as significant contributors to their communities – through their innovation, enterprise and problem-solving, seeking to make the world a more sustainable, healthier and better place.
As part of the Being Westminster 2022-28 strategy, Employability is one of the four objectives that focus on giving students from every background the best possible preparation for the world of work and enabling the best possible employability outcomes, through the further extension and embedding of programmes such as the Westminster Employability.
What you will do
A key responsibility of this post will be to provide administrative and events support to the Westminster Employability Award through answering daily enquiries and reviewing submissions, uploading events to Engage (an online platform), promoting the award at events to students, updating websites, contributing to meetings and minutes under the close direction of the Student Engagement and Employability Projects Manager and Westminster Employability Programme Officer.
The post holder will be expected to contribute ideas for developing the Westminster Employability Award to increase participation and engagement with students across the university, particularly with harder-to-reach students.
