The new roles sit within the University of Wolverhampton’s Content and Communications team and are perfect for those looking to make the first step into a career in marketing and/or communications.
About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic, creative recent graduates who have a passion for communicating our story to our audiences via our online channels. The new interns will support and enhance the University’s social media presence by promoting activities across our courses and subject areas, creating media rich content for social media posts and use on university channels such as the website.
The interns will be an active part of our academic faculties, attending on-campus events to gather and create content such as videos, photos, blogs, and case studies. The roles will also involve providing excellent customer service by answering a range of queries on social media and the successful candidates will undertake ongoing professional development and training to maintain and improve their knowledge of content creation.

What we’re looking for
Our ideal candidates will be recent graduates, with a degree or equivalent in a relevant area. You will have experience of using smartphones and/or cameras to create engaging content such as videos, photos, blogs and case studies, and an understanding of key social media platforms and preparing content for a variety of audiences.
The faculties have seen some excellent results from quality videos that have been used for promotion and there are high demands to continue video production and editing skills will be essential.
We are also looking for good written and verbal communication skills, and proactive and friendly team players.
