Key responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory or process tasks while ensuring compliance with safety (H&S) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
- Identify and escalate issues to line managers or colleagues as appropriate.
- Lead simple experimental protocols under supervision.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, other departments, and clients.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all experimental work, preparing data for inclusion in reports and presentations.
- Support method and process development as well as validation activities.
- Provide training to colleagues on standard laboratory and process activities.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory operations, procedures, and equipment.
- Contribute to the development of protocols, procedures, and reports, adhering to company quality standards.
- Prioritize and manage own workload, ensuring alignment with department or project goals through regular reviews with the line manager.
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory procedures and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
