    About the Role

    This job will give you meaningful work and considerable experience with the chance to spend time with our other brilliant teams in recruitment, systems and data, training and HR Business Partners. Our Council employs around 4000 people and offers a broad range of services to its citizens, and we will give you the full experience in service delivery across our corporate and school settings. Based in the beautiful County of Monmouthshire that boasts amazing scenic walks with mountaintop views, glistening river valleys, quaint market towns and food heaven for all you foodies.     Duties and Responsibilities

    • People analytics through data exploitation.
    • Workforce planning support.
    • Contract monitoring and supervision (Occupational Health, agency).
    • Collaborative and pro-active interventions to prioritise workflow and interventions.
    • HR casework support and management working with HR Business Partners.
    • Support digital transformation of HR services and processes.
    • Contribute to policy reviews, for example ED&I.

    Essential Skills

    • Degree level in HR or Business Support.
    • Knowledge of current HR legislation and procedures.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated as well as working as part of a team.
    • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
    • Understands the requirements of confidentiality.

    Desirable Skills

    • Excellent I.T skills.
    • Ability to manipulate and analyse data.
    • Ability to prioritise work.­
    • Ability to think creatively to provide innovative solutions.
