About the Role
You should have a natural capacity for absorbing information with the ability to extract insights to feed into business performance. You are likely to be highly-organised with a keen attention to detail.
Initially, this will be focused in two key business areas:
- Customer Research & Engagement: In-depth market research, analysis and coordination to support marketing and sales functions.
- Customer Success: Project coordination of enterprise client innovation challenges including processes, communications and documentation. This will also feed into digital product ideas for improvement (e.g. UX and UI enhancements).
Essential Skills
- Educated to Degree Level in a STEM subject at grade 2:2 and above
- Excellent research and analytical skills and the ability to identify insight and conclusions from data from a range of sources.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Understanding and appreciation of data analysis.
- Highly organised and logical approach to administrative tasks.
- Strong technical literacy moving seamlessly between products such as Teams, Google Docs, Slack etc
- A high level of competency in MS Excel.
- Strong data presentation and reporting skills.
- Experience of creating documents, processes and reports for a variety of professional audiences.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of using CRM systems and/or other marketing technology e.g. HubSpot.
- Experience of using digital marketing research tools such as SEMRush, BuzzInfo, etc.
Your Responsibilities:
Supporting Customer Research & Engagement:
- Sourcing, analysing and presenting data from a variety of sources into a consistent format, identifying and filling gaps and developing insight and conclusions from the findings (e.g. customer research profiles, competitor analysis, etc).
- Identifying and researching organisations, and decision-makers within them, that fit with the ideal client persona. This may include producing graphs, charts, geo-visualisations, infographics and bespoke reports.
- Using third party platforms to research for any suitable contract opportunities including extracting key information for review.
- Monitoring current ‘hot topics’ in the innovation space, using social media, news platforms and other relevant sources in order to make recommendations for suggested content topics.
- Support for marketing activities such as webinars and managing minor website updates including publication of blogs.
Supporting Customer Success:
- Customer platform administration including set up and management of challenges, in-app communication, and support for supplier submissions (e.g. image upload and support for drafting of initial submissions). This involves researching and extracting information from company websites and matching against requirements.
- Setting up new clients including creation their Kanban Board, preparing for workshops, preparing for weekly check in meetings with customers, typing up workshop outputs, setting up training
- Communication with third party organisations (e.g. enterprise clients, suppliers, etc.) to engage in and organise marketplace events. This may also include telephone calls to coordinate marketplace event attendance.
- Capturing and feeding back product ideas including UX and UI improvements based on customer engagement.
