    What you'll be doing

    • Assist Regional Environmental Engineer in managing Environmental and Quality systems across 3 ERFs
    • Implement and monitor daily environmental compliance requirements
    • Support ERF management in meeting environmental monitoring and reporting obligations
    • Plan and coordinate environmental monitoring and testing according to permit standards
    • Produce required reports under Environmental Permit and other regulations
    • Manage and liaise with third-party contractors for environmental monitoring programs
    • Coordinate with ERF Operational staff to maintain compliance and resolve issues
    • Travel between multiple sites, including potential overnight stays as required

    What we're looking for

    • Comprehensive knowledge of industrial regulations, emissions, and environmental permitting
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
    • Flexible, positive attitude with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all organisational levels
    • Proficient in IT, particularly spreadsheet applications
    • Valid driving license with willingness to work flexible hours
    • Science/Engineering qualification preferred (environmental, chemistry, engineering)
    • Understanding of combustion processes and industrial health & safety protocols
