What you’ll be doing
- Gain practical experience in at least three areas of English and Welsh law including contentious and non-contentious work. This may include commercial law, commercial property, company law, construction/civil engineering, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, planning law and intellectual property.
- Assist with draft agreements, reviewing customer contracts, undertaking due diligence, performing legal research tasks, assessing legal problems and advising internal clients on the law and legal issues.
- Providing a professional and helpful service to all internal clients and external customers.
- Keep a training record whilst completing the Professional Skills Course (PSC).
- Keeping up to date with developments in law and practice.
What we’re looking for
- You will be a recent Graduate with a completed LPC and be available to join us in September 2023.
- Excellent attention to detail and technical ability.
- Ability to manage assigned tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner, with the ability to accurately interpret and follow instructions.
- Achieve admission to the roll of solicitors on completion of the training course.
- An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to all internal and external customers.
