Graduate programme

This will be a 2-year programme providing you with valuable exposure and insight into Brettex and Veolia services and strategic Brettex projects.

As part of the Graduate Development Programme, you will go through a structured development programme, undertaking leadership, management, soft skills and safety modules with your graduate cohort.

What will you be doing?

  • As part of the Graduate Development Programme, to assist on various Projects across the business.
  • You will be gaining valuable experience in business development, organisational strategy and operational improvements.
  • Your work will cover a number of workstreams at any one time, which may focus on a single contract or service area, or relate to the national business unit as a whole.
  • The main deliverables will be supporting project management,, implementing improvement projects and supporting action plans, coordinating knowledge sharing across a diverse business unit and developing communication channels throughout the organisation to implement strategic plans.
  • Analysing existing practices and strategies to identify areas for improvement, and the development of innovative methods to achieve company goals.
  • You will be developing business relationships through direct meetings and other communications with operational management teams.
  • You will be required to support services as well as external stakeholders such as municipal clients, commercial customers and suppliers, and other industry personnel.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree level qualification, preferably related to Business or Environmental Sustainability
  • Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
  • Strong numerical and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate positively and interact with people at all levels within the organisation, as well as external clients, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Understanding of business policy, strategy and finance
