    The role & what you will be doing

    Provide support to the Regional Strategic Support Team on strategic projects and associated activities. Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Regional Strategic Support Intern role will make an impact: 

    • Provide support to the Regional Strategic Support Team on regional strategic projects and associated activities as needed, including but not limited to the following:
      • Project management support (road maps, monthly dashboards, close-out reports and effectiveness checks)
      • Data mining and analysis to support decision-making, project tracking and metrics
      • Data trending related to out of stocks and identified issues
      • Consolidation and abbreviation of key information and representation of data in concise and attractive MS PowerPoint slides
      • Maintain an operational knowledge of Regulatory Affairs internal databases and systems (including Document Management System, MyPortfolio, TrackWise CMS), producing data exports upon request
      • Advise Line Manager of the status and progress of activities to meet objectives and timelines, identifying potential problems or delays, and possible solutions, as they occur and maintain a current status report for these activities.
      • Maintain an awareness of regulatory requirements (including legislation, guidelines, industry best practice, and through liaison with competent Authorities). Use this information to influence, change and optimise departmental procedures and processes.
      • Periodic review of SOPs and WIs; support partnership with GRLD

    About your skills & experience 

    For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences: 

    • Ability to consolidate and abbreviate key information and represent data in concise and attractive MS PowerPoint format.
    • Ability to manipulate data in MS Excel including more advanced functionality e.g. Vlookup and Pivot tables.
    • Ability to summarise and analyse large amounts of data, drawing conclusions and observing trends
    • Experience of project management an advantage
    • Experience of databases and document management systems an advantage
    • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English
    • IT literate with proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their second university degree year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a life sciences degree course, or recently completed a life sciences degree course.
