    The Junior planner will be managing key instruments testing, working closely with planners, engineering and the warehouse team. As part of their everyday job they will manage service portfolio and transfers between Azenta sites.

    The Junior planner will be responsible for data maintenance in Oracle.

    Key Focus Areas

    • Raise Work Orders for instruments, manage and check build times for jobs with engineering, ensure the stock is shipped out on time to request and promise date
    • The primary contact between Engineering, Warehouse and Planning for instruments testing
    • Managing Service parts portfolio, uploading Safety Stock levels and forecasts in agreement with Service
    • Preparing reports pertaining to demand planning process
    • Reviewing Order book to identify opportunities for pull in and updating Sales Orders with correct sub-inventory information
    • Generates internal management reports for planning team
    • Enter and Modify data in Oracle – Safety Stock and Forecast updates as requested by planners, including NPI item attributes update
    • Delegating for Planners

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 1-2 years demand planning/production planning experience in fast paced industry
    • High level of experience of demand planning, forecasting, data analytics and report creation High level of experience of demand planning, forecasting, data analytics and report creation High level of experience of demand planning, forecasting, data analytics and report creationEexperience of report creation
    • Good understanding of Oracle (or similar) MRP based planning system
    • Microsoft Excel proficient
    • Organizational and Analytical skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Abilities to handle multiple competing priorities for multiple projects
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization
    • Requires sense of urgency, and the ability to provide detailed information when needed
    • Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
