Our Finance Operations team are motivated to deliver exceptional service to our internal and retailer customer base. They are responsible for performing all transactional and daily tasks across the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Joining them will give you fantastic grounding for a future career in various areas of Finance.
During your time at VWFS UK you will be able to develop your skills, gain experience within various teams, add value and contribute to the success of the organisation. Don’t worry if this sounds a little daunting – you’ll be fully supported and receive training along the way.
What you could be doing
- In this role you will focus on monitoring and investigating customer accounts portfolio
- You will be responsible for the reconciliation of sales ledger balance sheet accounts; with key stakeholders to manage, and clear aged items to maintain the integrity of customer’s accounts
- You will carry out analysis to deliver key operational/management information
- Conduct key month end tasks, including analysis aligned to our month end timetable
- Seek to understand the interaction and impact of subsidiary systems on the main accounting systems to ensure system integrity
- You will enable authorisation and processing of refunds to the customer

- You will be enrolled at a University which offers a 1 year industrial placement
- You will be studying towards a Finance or Business related degree
- You have an Intermediate level of excel knowledge and skill
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and deliver to strict deadlines
- You are analytical, focus on accuracy and effective problem solving skills
- You will be motivated by new challenges and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
- An ability to interpret financial data and convert findings into recommendations and successful outcomes

What to expect from the assessment process

You will then be invited to complete an online video interview where you have the opportunity to tell us about you and your amazing qualities.
If you are successful after completing your video interview, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes offices. Here, you will complete a Competency Based Interview, deliver a Presentation and take part in a Group Exercise. We’ll provide you with appropriate support and guidance before you attend.
