    About the Role

    We are looking for a recent IT graduate to join our Engineering Team within our Transformative System Solutions Business Group at Dundee, UK starting from September for 9 months. We are excited to offer you the opportunity to make an impactful change to a critical business area, while gaining real-life industrial experience of IT systems, data storage and accessibility. You will also be joining a deeply experienced team that will be able to support your early career development and provide you with diverse learning opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • A recent graduate of Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related IT course of studies where you have a great technical understanding of database structure and the ability to understand scientific/engineering concepts
    • Naturally driven, self-motivated, with a desire to succeed
    • Possess great inter-personal skills and can work effectively in a team, but also excel independently
    • Able to work with, and manipulate, large or complex datasets without being overwhelmed
    • Able to explain complex theoretical concepts in easy-to-understand language
    • Able to demonstrate excellent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Able to approach new tasks in a logical and structured manner
    • Able to adapt quickly to new environments
    • Excellent MS Office skills, especially with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
