About the role
We are looking for a Graduate Intern (f/m/d) to join our Space team within the global Electronic Cables and Components (EC&C) business starting 20th of September 2021 in Dundee, UK for 6 months. In this role you will get the opportunity to develop a database solution, ideally in SharePoint, as we need a new future proof solution to record qualification test planning through to execution and completion.
Responsibilities
- Implement a solution that will improve how we plan for and track special space requirements
- Propose ideas for a simplified and accessible database to improve visibility, planning and tracking with related interactions such as specification review, order acceptance, planning, execution and completion
- Consult with cross-functional team to understand and incorporate their needs into the new database solution
- Ongoing communication of progress, next steps and potential obstacles
- Support the team in testing and use of the new system
Qualifications
- You are a graduate student of Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Engineering, or a related discipline
- You have experience working with and/or developing databases, ideally such as SharePoint with Power Apps and Power Automate
- You are passionate about learning new things, are agile and have great communication skills
- You approach tasks in a structured and independent manner
- You enjoy working independently but also have a strong focus on teamwork and inclusion, also in a virtual environment
- You are confident to take on new challenges
- You have great MS Office skills, especially with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
