    This role will be a key link between the business and IT systems, being able to translate business challenges into working system solutions. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the business context and technical landscape.

    A new role for Walker’s, you will be working with key stakeholders from across the business to analyse highlighted processes and look for opportunities for improvement within the organisation, whether through process optimisation, technology adoption, or other means. This requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to think creatively and strategically.

    Duties will include

    • Collecting and analysing business requirements from stakeholders to understand their needs and expectation
    • Engaging with various stakeholders, including management to ensure alignment and effective communication
    • Developing and presenting prototypes or models of proposed solutions to stakeholders for feedback and approval
    • Creating documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows to ensure clarity and consistency
    • Providing training and support to stakeholders and process owners on new systems or processes
    • Assisting in the creation of test plans and test cases, and validate the accuracy of the solution after deployment
    • Fully aware of, comply to, and promote all the Company policies especially those relating to IT and Data Protection
    • Taking part in departmental meetings as a team member and actively sharing experience, knowledge and solutions with others
    • Familiar with, provide input to and practice departmental procedure.

    You will be keen to take an active part in your own learning and be willing to both undertake and provide appropriate training and employee development. In carrying out your duties, you must comply with Health and Safety Regulations and be aware of the company statements on Health and Safety.

    • Preferably have experience with using ERP system implementations and change management
    • Have a degree in computer science or maths, or have equivalent experience

    This is permanent role working 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 2.30pm, based at our Aberlour site. Hybrid working is available, working up to 2 days per week at home.
