The role
Planning, securing and executing prominent and positive PR for the company, brands and channels across both Trade and Consumer for WarnerMedia EMEA’s kids brands (Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito and Boing).
Responsibilities
- Manage press clipping archive, clipping reports and monitor media
- Writing press releases, Q&A’s, staff biographies, etc.
- Handle EMEA/International journalist contacts
- Update and maintain press database
- Developing PR toolkits for new series, apps and other priorities
- Handling press junkets and facilitating other media interviews
- Talent management/briefing
- Create PR campaign evaluation reports
- Identify PR opportunities
- Deal with material requests (e.g. images, synopsis, screeners etc)
- Handle award entries
- Assist in day-to-day administration duties
The essentials
- You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2023.
- Strong writing skills are essential
- A strong, clear, calm and consistent communicator
- Adept at building productive cross-functional relationships
- Outstanding attention to detail
- A creative thinker who brings ideas to the table
Desirables
- Experience and/or education within the field of PR and communications
- TV/entertainment experience
