Your new role
Warner Bros. Discovery seeks a creative trafficking intern for the Subscriber Acquisition Marketing team. The trafficking team is responsible for scheduling campaigns and their associated creative assets for delivery across digital platforms. The assets will be generated via a creative automation platform and will be trafficked using feeds for social platforms or directly to respective media buying teams. It is a great opportunity to learn how digital advertising works, as well as great exposure to creative teams, strategy teams, local marketing teams and media buying teams.
This role will support the trafficking of our feeds for sports & entertainment and will be involved in wider team projects, whilst learning about subscriber acquisition and performance marketing.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about television, movies, entertainment, and digital marketing. They will have knowledge of performance marketing and/or creative. This role demands an eye for detail and structure to be successful.
DCO (Dynamic Content Optimisation) is our standard assets delivery process, whereby campaign information, scheduling and creative elements are inputted into a feed (data spreadsheet). The creative assets come together automatically within the platform using ready-made templates. This drives efficiency and allows for scaling campaigns across both creative production and media management. The intern will be pivotal in ensuring that the correct information is set up in the feed according to the media plan and media requirements. They will also verify the accuracy of the creative output, confirm deliveries to the media teams and communicate with other teams as necessary.
Your role accountabilities
- Work closely with Creative team/ACQ team/Global buying team to populate the feed and communicate with internal teams to streamline workflow and asset delivery.
- Monitor and maintain essential documents (specs, process, workflow, best practice, taxonomy).
- Manage the Media Drive & Smartly Library housing all creative files for trafficking.
- Check assets for specs, correct dimensions, and file formats.
- Generate file naming conventions essential for performance measurement.
- Traffic and deliver final files to automation platform or media team.
- Confirm campaign launch has gone live.
- Supporting the broader subscriber acquisition on projects to help development & learning.
Qualifications & experience
- You must be a recent university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2022.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing ecosystem, working with channels such as Social, Display, YouTube, Search, Native and Discovery.
- Hands-on with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and ask questions.
- Knowledge of digital creative assets: specs, best practice, creative guidelines.
- Strong communication skill and experience presenting data.
- Experience in or knowledge of dynamic creative optimisation tools such as Smartly, Google Web Designer and dynamic creative optimisation and feed management is a bonus.
The internship
- Salary: £27,000
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Start Date: Likely to be 9th September 2024
