    Your new role

    The People & Culture Graduate Interns will support various HR teams to ensure the smooth running of our business. We have a variety of roles within our People & Culture division across our Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams. Therefore, the below job description is not exhaustive of all activities you may undertake during your internship.  

    Your role accountabilities

    Talent Acquisition:

    • Assisting with shortlisting and screening candidates during initial recruitment stages on both Experienced Hire and Early Careers projects across EMEA. 
    • Attending careers fairs and visiting schools, colleges and universities to promote Warner Bros. Discovery as an employer.
    • Assisting with the organisation and implementation of assessment centres for the Early Careers programmes. 
    • Supporting multiple Recruiters in scheduling interviews across differing time zones, while providing an excellent candidate experience. 

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Support the Benefits team to answer employee queries via our internal system.
    • Compile salary and benefits data for annual reports.
    • Research competitor salaries and benefits to support with benchmarking.
    • Work with our company benefits providers (Benify, Bupa, Fidelity) to answer queries and resolve issues.

    Diversity, Equity & Inclusion:

    • DEI Pipeline Programmes: helping conceptualise programmes, drafting application materials, updating website copy, onboarding participants, event coordination, creating project management documents and helping to evaluate programmes through surveys and feedback forms.  
    • Draft social media copy and build assets to promote our DEI initiatives.
    • Research and gather information on global trends in the DEI talent development space.

    Qualifications & experience

    • You must be a recent university graduate, having graduated no earlier than July 2022.  
    • An interest in human resources and how it impacts business operations.
    • A passion for diversity, equity and inclusion.
    • Great communication skills with the confidence to speak to people at careers fairs and other events. 
    • Superb attention to detail. 
    • You will need to be organised with the ability to prioritise your workload 
    • You should also have the ability to take initiative and work proactively. 

    The internship

    • Salary: £27,000
    • Contract Length: 12 months
    • Start Date: Likely to be 9th September 2024
    • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects. 
    • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more. 
    • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!  

    Next steps

    • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 17th March (you will not be able to apply after this date). 
    • Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 24th March.
    • Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interviews via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in April. 
    • Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place May-June.
